About Me
After more than 30 years as an elementary school teacher—primarily with Junior Kindergarten to Grade 2—I retired and found myself craving a new creative outlet. That’s when I discovered acrylic pour painting, and I was instantly captivated by the process—from mixing colours to experimenting with fluid art techniques.
Now, as a passionate artist, I specialize in fluid acrylics and resin, often drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of coastal landscapes. My work captures the organic movement of water and sand, blending colour and texture to create vibrant, abstract pieces. I also love experimenting with a wide variety of pour painting techniques to create abstract pieces using carefully curated colour combinations. Each artwork is a reflection of movement, emotion, and the harmony of colour.
Through Colours in Motion, I bring art into everyday life—not just through canvas paintings, but also through unique, functional creations like coasters, vases, wine stoppers, and glasses. Each piece is thoughtfully crafted to spark joy and showcase the beauty of colour in motion.
